MINUTES OF NORWICH ETHICS COMMISSION MEETING May 9, 2016 MEMBERS PRESENT Robert Ballard Christopher Dixon Kathryn Lord Carol Menard Gregory Schlough MEMBERS ABSENT None ALTERNATES PRESENT Anthony Black ALTERNATES ABSENT None OTHERS PRESENT Melinda Wilson - Recording Secretary 1. Call to order: Carol Menard, Chair, called the May 9, 2016 meeting to order at 5:00 P.M. 2. Determination of Quorum: It was determined a quorum was present. 3. Approval of Minutes: On a motion by Greg Schlough, seconded by Kathryn Lord, the minutes of the March 14, 2016 were unanimously approved as presented. 4. Citizen Comment: None 5. New Business: Introductions: Anthony was introduced to the Ethics Commission members. Each member briefly introduced themselves. Carol reported the City Council made Anthony an Alternate Member. Procedures: Anthony has received and reviewed the procedures. Carol gave a summary of the processes followed for cases. Kathryn pointed out the Commission still has room for alternates. Chris explained the investigation process. 6. Old Business: Carol reported that the City Council made Greg a full member of the Ethics Commission. 7. Adjournment: On a motion to adjourn by Kathryn Lord, seconded by Mac Ballard, the Ethics Commission adjourned at 5:15 PM.
