Mereen David DiBattista Richard Podurgiel Others Present Bruce Morse, Superintendent James Homiski, Member’s Club Glenn Meadows, Member’s Club Josh Pothier, Deputy Comptroller, City of Norwich A special meeting to consider, discuss and possibly take action on a budget for the Norwich Golf Course Authority for the 2012 season was called to order by Chairman Caulfield at 6:00 p.m. A wide ranging discussion took place covering, among other things, staffing requirements, the difficulties and requirements of maintaining the course, proposed cuts in expenditures, efforts to increase play and membership, an anticipated drop in the number of members during 2012 based on past experience, fees to be charged for memberships, limited play and greens fee play, proposals to be discussed with the new professional and proposals for marketing the course. A proposed budget will be presented at the November regular meeting of the Authority. At 7:15 p.m. a motion to adjourn was made by Mr. Mereen, seconded by Mr. DiBattista and approved unanimously.
