Whitty, Chairman, Budget Subcommittee Date: November 13, 2015 Subject: Minutes of the Meeting of the Budget Subcommittee Held on November 13, 2015 The Budget Subcommittee met on Friday, November 13, 2015 in the Authority Room at the Norwich Golf Course, 685 New London Turnpike, Norwich, CT. Members Present Richard Podurgiel Michael Driscoll Charles C. Whitty Others Present Mike Svab, Pro Manager Sandra Kuchta, Accountant Call to Order Chairman Whitty called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. Minutes A motion to approve the minutes of the November 6, 2015 meeting of the Budget Subcommittee was made by Mr. Podurgiel, seconded by Mr. Driscoll, and approved unanimously. Sandra Kuchta of the City’s Finance Office discussed the status of the NGCA’s current operating and capital budget and the projected financial picture of the operation for the Calendar Year 2016. The Budget Subcommittee reviewed the proposed operating and capital budget for the Calendar Year 2016. A motion was made by Mr. Podurgiel, seconded by Mr. Driscoll, and approved unanimously to recommend to the NGCA that the budget for the Calendar Year 2016 be set at $1,130,000.00. A motion was made by Mr. Podurgiel, seconded by Mr. Driscoll, and approved unanimously to recommend to the NGCA that season pass rates and daily fees for the Calendar Year 2016 remain the same as those adopted for the Calendar Year 2015. Meeting of the Budget Subcommittee held on November 13, 2015 page 2 Adjournment A motion to adjourn the meeting at 10:30 a.m. was made by Mr. Podurgiel seconded by Mr. Driscoll, and approved unanimously.
