Greeneville NRZ Minutes April 13, 2011 6:00 p.m. Attendees: Peter Procko, Nancy Procko, Don Wojciechowski, Olive Buddington, Kathy Strenkowski, Sofee Noblick, Sonya Skindzier, Stan Kaplan Guest: Tucker Braddock, City Councilman New Member: Mercedes Buckingham Minutes: March 2011 minutes accepted and approved Followup Business: The Greeneville Fire House community room should be available for our June meeting. POKO development meeting on April 27,2011 at the Norwich Community Development Office. NRZ Web Site: Nancy to set it up before the end of the year. Ideas needed. June Community Event: June 25th atthe Greeneville Playground. Possibilities: Tag Sale, Chalk Art, Hoola Hoop event, Talent Show, Music. 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. New Business: Public Access to the Shetucket River. Access on the Roosevelt St. Side. It appears that the area has been cleared of brush. A picnic table would be nice in this area. Perhaps promote the area geared to fishing. Bus Shelters: Peter and Sofee along with a representative from Public Works looked at locations we would like to have a Bus Shelter at. Also pointed out sidewalk repair work. Other Business: Sofee gave an overview of a Redevelopment Agency Conference she attended in Phi ladelphia re gardin g Hazar dous M ateri al and Brownfields.
