Attendees: Peter Procko, Sofee Noblick, John Mercier, Don Wojciechowski, Stan
Kaplan, Sonya Skindzier, Kathy Strenkowski, Peter Obuchowski, Sgt. Peter Camp,
Officer Chris Chastang
New business: Peter Obuchowski gave an update of his business Xuare and the
opportunites that have come his way. Peter also explained the Hub Zone and the
Step Up program. Greeneville is in the designated Hub Zone area. This is a federal
program regarding under utilized businesses . The area must have or had a history
of business and low per capita income. The Step Up program is a grant for
businesses, where 50% of the employees salaries are paid for the first six months.
Old Business:
Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce Boat Race: The Greeneville Neighborhood
had a boat in the race. This was the first time entered. Fun day for all.
Greeneville Day: Don gave his update on this event. Flyers and posters were
discussed, as we need to distribute them in the area.
Meeting adjourned at 7:00 p.m. Next Meeting September 3,2014.
***There will be no meeting in the months of July and August.
