Greeneville NRZ Minutes April 6,201"6 6:00 p.m. Attendees: Peter Procko, Sofee Noblick, John Mercier, Peter Obuchowski, Zechariah Stover, Kathy Strenkowski, Rev. Christopher Rogalski, Tommy Yorz, Henry Fidrych, Police officers Ken Wright and Denis Bialowas, Greeneville firefighter Michael Dziavit, other residents of the community. Minutes: The March minutes were accepted and appoved, with one correction to the reference of bus shelters. The NRZ has requested the Community Development Block Grant RFP is written to allow bus shelters. The minutes will be corrected to include this. New Business: t Awards Dinner: We will be discussing an awards dinner for a local veteran at the May 2016 meeting. This dinner would probably be held in November . List of vacant business buildings: John Mercier will work on this list. Business after hours: This event will be Wednesday, May 4,201-G from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. This willtake place immediately after the regular NRZ meeting. There will be a meeting of the sub committee for this event on Wednesday, April 13th at 6:00 p.m. to address invitations. The meeting will be at the G reeneville Fire Station. Greeneville Fire Station: Firefighter Michael Dziavit expressed the appreciation of support the NRZ has given the Greeneville Fire Station and the desire that we continue to value this relationship. Old Business: Fire Hydrants: Next meeting will be Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. Spirit of Greeneville Day: New ideas needed for the "paint a picture" activity. Polling Place: The NRZ has sent a backup letter to Fire Chief Kenneth Scandariato's letter to the mayor. This is regarding the use of the Greeneville Fire Station as a voting/polling place. Sidewalk Update: The wooded area between Dunkin Donuts and Old Milltavern has had some tree removal activity in preparation for a new sidewalk .
