Greeneville N RZ Minutes March 2,2016 6:00 p.m. Attendees: Peter Procko, Sofee Noblick, Jean Tardiff, Stan Kaplan, Kathy Strenkowski, Zechariah Stover, John Mercier, Rev. Christopher Rogalski, Sgt. Peter Camp, other residents of the community. Minutes: February 3,201.6 minutes accepted and approved. New Business: Promoting Greeneville sub committee: The next meeting of the committee will be Wednesday, March g,2}l6attheGreenevilleFireStation. lthasbeensuggestedbythecommittee,tofraveabusinessafter hours. This would be focused on the local businesseq, Another idea would be a "Fix it Day". Residents cou'ld bring their bikes, smallappliances, skate board etc. for repairs. Polling Place: Fire Chief Kenneth Scandariato has written a letter to the mayor of Norwich regarding the use of the Greeneville Fire Station as a voting/polling place. Old Business: Fire Hydrants: There will be a meeting of this committee in March to begin organizing this event. Bus Shelters: The NRZ has requested that the Community Development Block Grant RFP is written to allow bus shelters. April Clean Up Day: The date for the clean up will be Tuesday, April 19th at 9:00 a.m. Volunteers will meet at the Greeneville Fire Station. Mini Library: We have received the Okay from the Norwich Recreation Dept . to install the free standing library. More to come on this.
