\ Greeneville NRZ Minutes October s,2cl6 6:oo p.m. Attendees: Peter Procko, Sofee Noblick, Zechariah Stover,.Stan Kaplan, Kathy Strenkowski, Shiela Hayes, Rev. Christopher Rogalski, F.Ienry Fidrych, Tom Yorz and other residents of the community. Minutes: The September minutes were accepted and approved. New Business: Trophies: Motion made and voted on to authorize payment of $+gS.go to New England Awards for trophies for the Fire Hydrant Painting contest. Jarn Session: Motion made and voted on to authorize payment of $zoo.oo to Sofee Noblick for reimbursement of payrnent for Jam Session expenses which took place September 18, 2016. Porta Pofty Services: Motion made and voted on to authorize payment of $zoo.oo to John Mercier for reimbursement of Greeneville Day expenses. Daffodils: We will be receiving looo daffodil bulbs , donated by Senator Cathy Osten to be planted in the Greeneville area. The hill along North Main St. below Central Avenue was targeted as the primary site for this project. Volunteers will be needed once the bulbs are received. Polling Place: It was suggested that we continue to pursue this before the City's next year budget is in place. Invite the Registrar of Voters to the December Meeting. Old Business: Fire Hydrant Painting: The certificates have been completed. Photos of the painted hydrants will be completed. Mural: Phase I of the mural is almost complete. The NRZ has requested documentation listing the total expense for doing this project. Also requested was projection figures for doing Phase II . Appreciation Dinner: Tickets are still available. The dinner is November 5, zo16 at the Divine Providence Church, rr Silver St., Norwich, Ct. 5:oo-B:oo p.m. This dinner is to honor our educators, fire, police, veterans and businesses. zorT Projects: Movie Nights: Possibly two either in July or August. More to come. Jam Session: Tentativc for Junc or thc night of Greeneville Day.
