MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE NORWICH HOUSING AUTHORITY HELD TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2018 The Board of Commissioners (“Board”) of the Norwich Housing Authority (“Authority”) met in special session at the main office of the Norwich Housing Authority, 10 Westwood Park, Norwich, Connecticut, at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 20, 2018. I. Roll Call Vice-Chairman Gauthier called the meeting to order at 11:00 AM and the following answered present: Alice Cunningham Wilma Sullivan Paul Gauthier Hector Baillargeon and Marion Rucker were excused. Also present were Joanne M. Drag, Deputy Executive Director / Finance Director and John Mainville, Modernization Coordinator. II. New Business A. Ms. Sullivan moved to adopt Resolution S-18-02-1399 to enter into a contract for preconstruction services and construction management services with PAC Group, LLC for the 2018 Schwartz Manor State Sponsored Housing Portfolio (“SSHP”) Capital Funding Round application. Ms. Cunningham seconded the motion. Miss Drag and Mr. Mainville discussed the resolution with the Board. Roll call vote: Ayes – Cunningham, Sullivan, Gauthier Nays - None Motion carried unanimously. Minutes of the Norwich Housing Authority – February 20, 2018 page 2 B. Ms. Cunningham moved to adopt Resolution S-18-02-1400 to enter into a contract with PAC Group, LLC for construction management services for the Eastwood Court 2017 SSHP Capital Funding grant. Ms. Sullivan seconded the motion. Miss Drag and Mr. Mainville discussed the resolution with the Board. Roll call vote: Ayes – Cunningham, Sullivan, Gauthier Nays - None Motion carried unanimously. III. Adjournment There being no further business to discuss, Ms. Sullivan moved and Ms. Cunningham seconded the motion that the meeting be adjourned. Motion carried unanimously.
