NORWICH ICE RINK AUTHORITY MINUTES FROM SPECIAL MEETING September 10, 2012 Authority Attendance: Pete Desaulniers, Cheryl Ritacco, Mike Goldblatt, Joann Beguhl, Patrice Jaskiewicz and Stephanie Davis Absent: Mike Meakem Guest: Mia Sanca and Bonnie Damato Torres Meeting was called to order by Pete Desaulniers at 7 pm, a quorum was present. Discussion took place regarding concession RFP. There was one response submitted by Bonnie Damato Torres. The Authority reviewed submittal and it was decided that more information was needed to fully evaluate the response. Also, questions were raised regarding the RFP itself and clarification was needed on several points/requirements outlined in the document. Cheryl Ritacco made a motion to request Bonnie Damato Torres provide a new response document with more information directly related to the points outlined in the RFP. Also, questions related to the RFP are to be sent to Bill Block, City Purchasing Agent, for clarification. In addition, the answers to the aforementioned questions would be forwarded to Ms. Torres. Patrice Jaskiewicz seconded the motion. The motion was passed unanimously. The proposed contract between the Norwich Municipal Ice Rink and Imperial Skating Academy for the period of October 6, 2012 – December 22, 2012, was reviewed; adjustments in language were made and additional statements included. As stated in the contract, Imperial Skating Academy will have 7 days from receiving contract to decide if accepting as presented. With a motion by Joann Beguhl and seconded by Stephanie Davis the meeting was adjourned at 8:52 PM. Respectfully submitted, Cheryl Ritacco
