Ice Arena Authority

NORWICH ICE ARENA AUTHORITY MINUTES FROM MEETING HELD May 20th, 2015 Authority Attendance: Pete Desaulniers, JoAnn Beguhl, Mark Bettencourt, Cheryl Ritacco, Gary Makowicki, Mike Goldblatt, Angela Duhaime Meeting was called to order by Pete Desaulniers at 7:04 pm, a quorum was present. Review of the Minutes from March 18th, 2015: Gary Makowicki made a motion to approve the minutes from March 18th, 2015; Cheryl Ritacco seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Public Comments There were no public comments. Correspondence There was no correspondence. Old Business There was no old business for discussion. New Business A. All members have been interviewed and renewed for another term. Mike Goldblatt has submitted resignation. There is now a vacancy for the Ice Arena Authority. B. Review contract for the Ice Arena Management Services: After a discussion reviewing the contract for the Ice Arena Management Services, a motion was made by Gary Makowicki “to send a request to the Ice Arena Management regarding concerns to the execution for section 7.5 with a response by June 12th, 2015” and Joann Beguhl seconded the motion and it was passed unanimously. C. All financials and reports were reviewed. D. No expenses needed approval. E. Pete Desaulniers will follow up to get an update regarding the status of the roof replacement. F. Pete Desaulniers will also follow up to inquiry about the disposal for equipment in storage. Update from Management There was no update from management. With a motion by Gary Makowicki and seconded by JoAnn Beguhl, the meeting was adjourned at 7:48pm.
