April 2, 2015 Regular Meeting Minutes CITY OF NORWICH INLAND WETLANDS, WATERCOURSES AND CONSERVATION COMMISSION Lower-level Conference Room, 23 Union Street, Norwich, Connecticut Agenda Items A, B & C – Call To Order, Roll Call, Determination Of Quorum: Vice-Chairman Richard Morell called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Present: Richard Morell, Vice-Chairman Douglas S. Lee Brandon Hyde Ralph Page Art Sharron, Alternate Absent: Barbara Rothstein Philip Kiley Jeremiah Lowney Robert McCoy, Alternate Also Present: Peter Davis, Director It was determined there was a quorum. D. APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES: Upon motion by Douglas Lee and second by Art Sharron the Commission voted unanimously to APPROVE the minutes of the February 5, 2015 regular meeting. E. COMMUNICATIONS: None F. PUBLIC HEARINGS: None G. OLD BUSINESS: 1. IWWCC #15-01 – 180 Harland Road – Application from Stephen Majeski and Richard Vendola for the construction of a residential home within a regulated upland area. Upon motion by Ralph Page and second by Art Sharron the Commission voted unanimously to APPROVE application IWWCC #15-01. H. NEW BUSINESS: I. New Business items submitted after agenda preparation and prior to the submission deadline:  1. IWWCC #15-02 – 132 Taftville Occum Road – Application from GTO Realty LLC for the construction of a Dunkin Donuts restaurant within a regulated upland area. Upon motion by Art Sharron and second by Ralph Page the Commission voted unanimously to TABLE the application until the next regular scheduled meeting of May 7, 2015, in order to comply with the required 30 day petition period.
