TRAFFIC COMMISSION MINUTES City Hall May 13th, 2026 MEMBERS PRESENT: OTHERS PRESENT: Linda Hanson Media: None Vivian James Council Representative: Fred Gee Paul Eaton Police Representative: Deputy Chief Matthew Roberts Frank Revoir Guests: None Richard Natoli Absent/Excused: Jacob Perrone Chairperson Linda Hanson called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. A quorum was present. Motion by Vivian to accept the minutes from the April 8th 2026, meeting, Seconded by Linda. All in favor. Correspondence: Old Business: No parking sign to be placed across the street from 30 Waite Street: Motion made by Frank to move to council for approval, seconded by Paul, all in favor. Truck parking/unloading in the middle of North Broad Street- it has been determined that there has never been an accident resulting from the truck unloading in the center of the street. Street signs faded and need replacing on Fair Street and Canasawacta Street. NEW BUSINESS: 4 way stop at Griffin and West Midland : Motion by Frank to move to Council for approval, seconded by Paul. Guernsey St. parking between Fair St and Henry St. – vehicles parked too close to the intersection. A “one way” sign to be placed on the west side of West Midland across from the parking lot reminding vehicles they have to travel south when exiting the parking lot. Further signage can be put under the one way sign showing no right turn. See attached photo. Motion made by Frank to move to council for approval, seconded by Paul, all in favor. Motion by Vivian to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Frank, meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m. Next meeting will be the second Wednesday of the month, Wednesday, June 10th, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
