TRAFFIC COMMISSION MINUTES City Hall June 10th, 2026 MEMBERS PRESENT: OTHERS PRESENT: Linda Hanson Media: None Vivian James Council Representative: Fred Gee Paul Eaton Police Representative: Chief Matthew Roberts Jacob Perrone Guests: Pete Ward Richard Natoli Absent/Excused: Frank Revoir Chairperson Linda Hanson called the meeting to order at 7:06 p.m. A quorum was present. Motion by Vivian to accept the minutes from the May 13th 2026, meeting, Seconded by Paul. All in favor. Correspondence: Bill Loomis • Alternate side street parking or one side of street parking only. • No parking on Pleasant St from Miller to North Broad. • Prohibit parking of utility trailers, campers, and other towed equipment on city streets for periods exceeding 24 hrs. Lilit Danielyan • “no parking” signs be put back up on the north side of Beebe Ave. Old Business: All recommendations made in May meeting were approved by council. NEW BUSINESS: No action to be taken on alternate side street parking or designating parking to one side of the street only. Recommend Alderman from each ward identifying problem streets in their ward for designated one side parking. Also, it is recommended that Fire Dept. be asked what are the problem streets for them. No action to be taken regarding no parking on Pleasant Street. Local Business on Pleasant Street needs street parking. No action to be taken to prohibit the extended parking of utility trailers, campers, and other towed equipment. Motion made by Vivian to put “no parking” signs back up on the north side of Beebe Ave. Seconded by Jacob. All in favor to move to council for approval. Motion by Paul to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Jacob, meeting adjourned at 7:51 p.m. Next meeting will be the second Wednesday of the month, Wednesday, August 12th, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
