On March 7, 2020, in Executive Order No. 202.1, Governor Cuomo suspended certain provisions
of the Open Meeting Law to permit a Village of Nyack Land Use Board to meet and take actions
authorized by law without permitting in public in-person access and authorizing such meeting to
be held remotely by conference call or similar service, provided that the public has the ability to
view or listen to such proceeding and that such meetings are recorded and later transcribed. The
Village will be activating a remote meeting platform for the May 20th, 2020 Architectural
Review Board meeting at 7:00pm, which will enable residents to watch a livestream of the
meeting and comment on the Zoom platform in compliance with the Executive Order. The
specific link to facilitate the remote Zoom platform access for the May 20, 2020 Architectural
Review Board meeting will be posted on the Village of Nyack official website in advance of the
meeting.
Copies of all applications and documents submitted in connection with applications may be
viewed on the Village of Nyack website, www.nyack-ny.gov, as attachments for the meeting [all
meeting dates are set forth on the monthly calendar]. In addition to accepting public comment
during the meeting through the online platform, written comments on applications may be
submitted via email to buildingdepartment@nyack-ny.gov no later than 1:00 pm on May 19,
2020.

1. 42 Sixth Avenue. Robert Silarski for Bantam Nyack LLC. Application for additional story
and four dormers.
2. 35 Tallman Avenue. Charles Muthig. Application for approval of a rear yard deck
previously installed without a permit.
3. 18 North Highland Avenue. Ira Emmanuel for J. Nazarro Partnership, LP. Application to
demolish Sterling Bank building and construct a 7-11 convenience store with fuel gas
dispensing pumps.
4. 160 North Midland Avenue. Montefiore Nyack Hospital. Continuation of application to
construct a parking garage in south east corner of property, with footbridge connecting
garage to second floor of main hospital.
