Architectural Review Board May 21, 2025 Minutes pg. 1 Meeting location: Nyack Village Hall Meeting called to order = 7:00pm Present: Greg Healey Chair Laurie Steinhorst Member Scott O’Neill Member Mary Adler Member Tim Mills Member Manny Carmona Building Inspector Dennis Michaels Village Attorney 1. 5 Crosby Street. Stevenson Durandisse. Application for the construction of an addition. Application presented by: Stevenson Durandisse Board discussion: Applicant is seeking approval for addition. Addition would extend interior space on north east corner of building. Roof of addition would blend to existing roofline. As proposed, addition would have vinyl siding. Trim to match existing. Addition would have crawl space foundation. Application also includes new deck on east (rear) of building. Decking will be composite (trex or similar) with pressure treated support structure. Public Comment: None Conclusion: Application approved as submitted, with recommendation to use brick veneer to match existing instead of vinyl siding. Motion by member O’Neill, 2nd by member Healey. Approved by 5-0 vote. 2. 28 Central Avenue. Maren Robertson. Application for exterior changes to an existing garage and adding bathroom to the previously finished space. Application presented by: Maren Robertson. Board discussion: Application for retroactive permission to change garage to living space. Garage doors replaced with sliding patio doors and window on north side replaced and relocated, still on north side. Plumbing to be extended to building for water and sewer hookup. Public Comment: None Conclusion: Application approved as submitted Motion by member Healey, 2nd by member Steinhorst. Approved by 5-0 vote.
