a. Call to Order
I. Meeting called to order by Chad Schwarz at 6:30
b. Roll Call
I. Present: Herb Roach, Julie Spengler, Chad Schwarz, Cameren Luster,
Vicki Evans, Mark Kampen
II. Absent: Bob Kueker, Valerie Hancock
III. City Representative: Cameron DeWitt

c. Approval of Minutes
I. The draft minutes of the January 6, 2025 meeting were presented
to the Commission
II. Motion: Herb Roach moved to accept the minutes as presented.
Vicki Evans seconded the motion. Motion carried.
2.1 Election of officers
a. Discussion was held about confusion from Jan 6 meeting as to if ex officio
officer can hold an office.
b. Election was tabled until next meeting.
2.2 250th Celebration
a. Discussion of history, landmarks, people to tie O'Fallon to nation's history.
Ideas-
Regan visits, civil war people, cemetery walk narratives, Bernie
Fuchs, Schmitt NASA technician, O'Fallon Garden Club recognition
for donations.
Also reach out to B Keller and Valerie for suggestions
2.3 Meeting time change discussion.
a. Discussion
b. Motion: Motion by Vicki Evans to change meeting time from 6:30PM to
6:00PM. Seconded by Herb Roach. Motion carried.
3.1 Update on plaques
a. As per C DeWitt City has reached out to vendor that made Schmitt plaque
about repair.
