SPECIAL MEETING OAKDALE CITY COUNCIL November 12, 2020 CALL TO ORDER A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Oakdale was held on November 12, 2020, at Oakdale City Hall, 1584 Hadley Avenue, Oakdale, Minnesota. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Paul Reinke at 5:15 PM. CALL OF ROLL On a call of roll, the following were present: Mayor Paul Reinke Council Members: Jake Ingebrigtson Susan Olson Colleen Swedberg Kevin Zabel Absent: None Also Present: Christina Volkers, City Administrator Susan Barry, City Clerk PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE CANVASS OF VOTES FROM NOVEMBER 3 GENERAL ELECTION A MOTION WAS MADE BY COUNCIL MEMBER ZABEL, SECONDED BY COUNCIL MEMBER INGEBRIGTSON, TO WAIVE READING AND ADOPT RESOLUTION 2020-114, CANVASSING THE RETURNS OF THE NOVEMBER 3, 2020, GENERAL ELECTION: Council Member (2) Names Vote Totals Four Year Terms Kevin Zabel 5,689 Jake Ingebrigtson 3,376 Amber Marie Lewis 3,159 Tara Nash 3,079 Paul Lockhart 2,945 Marty Jurgensen 1,695 Mark S Landis 1,669 Ryan J. Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Oakdale was held at the Oakdale Municipal Building, 1584 Hadley Avenue North, Oakdale, Minnesota, on the 12th day of November, 2020, at 5:15 PM, with the following members present: Mayor Paul Reinke, Council Members Jake Ingebrigtson, Susan Olson, Colleen Swedberg, and Kevin Zabel, and the following members absent: none. NOW, BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Oakdale that it is hereby found, determined, and declared that the General Election held in and for said city on November 3, 2020, was in all respects duly and legally called and held and the returns thereof have been duly canvassed and the votes cast at said election for and against are as follows: Council Member Names Vote Totals Four Year Term NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Oakdale that _____________________ and _____________________ are hereby elected as Council Member, term to expire January 2025.
