(unanimous) Public communications; None Present Chairmans Report: Marty gave report about equipment purchases and showed diagrams and pictures of the future transmission site. Reported on budgetary items. Discussion regarding cost, “equipment shack”, antenna, internet, proprietary information, security systems and volunteer labor. Technology Report: presented by Trey Smith. Discussed cross training and remotes. Station Report Presented by Butch Larsen, Discussed Shed, fence removal, Acoustic tiles, DJ Schedule, Non-Profit, News Team and North Beach Media Technology Report: Marty Hadfield had nothing additional to report. Board Member Reports Darrell Prowse reported about Channel 68 simulcast with Tommy and sports show. Will also do city council and budget meeting. Live TV coverage like basketball. Static IP Address. Rosanna Santoro No Report David Bunch talked about new Newspaper Reporter Franke, Press Pass, Traffic reports, 7/8 Heliax, Mileage ($0.625) we should be paying volunteers by law and Web advertising. Thomas Gardner talked about a scanner, likes to listen to the coast guard. Suggest we follow up with school superintendents and community organizations summarize city council meetings. The KOSW Website needs to be improved. Discussion website negatively impacts the station. Tom is preparing his house to do podcasts with cameras and would like to summarize City eetings. Old Business New Business Dave requests Marty follow up on Mileage discussion with City powers that be, before next meeting. Discussion Led by: Radio Board Chair, Marty Hadfield, Managing Inappropriate Language – Songs / Interviews, DJ Shows Remote Internet Access - Music Database Discussion on remote utilities falling off. Remote shows. Marty suggested making remote available to broadcast from outside if needed.
