Page 2 of 9  Radio Board Meeting Minutes ZOOM March 23, 2021 Call to order / Roll Call Meeting Called to order at 10:30 AM by Marty Hadfield. Board members present: Marty Hadfield, Rosanne Santoro, Jacqui Austin, Darrel Prowse, Mike Preston • Approval of the March 23, 2020 Agenda: Marty made a motion to amend the agenda to add a report from our City Council Liaison. Seconded by Mike. Discussion centered around what will the liaison report on. Amendment approved unanimously. Agenda approved as amended. • Approval of Minutes: Minutes approved. • Public comment: No public comment. • Chair’s report: Marty Hadfield. Thank you to Jacqui and Sara for all your work on the station bylaws. Marty attended the local area emergency communication meeting. The main take away is there is always room for improvement. • Treasures Report: March 2021: BOP checking : $4240.40 VISA -$184.37 PayPal $247.30 Petty cash $288.11. Cash coming by underwriting should be deposited rather than go straight to petty cash. • Station Managers Report: Butch Larson Trey Smith: Nothing from Trey. Butch, KOSW will be using the Convention center stage rather than our own. KOSW will be providing music the vendor fair. • Technology report: Still working on the microwave signal to carry signal from station to transmitter. Working on a way for Windows to do updates and get ZARA up and running. There is hope. • Old business: None • Tabled business: None • New business: License renewal. KOSW license expires 2/2/22. Earliest we can file is August 2021 latest is October 2021. Marty will have renewal ready to submit in August. No long need to send out prefiling announcements. Need to send out post filing announcements twice a week for 4 weeks. Allowing for both positive and negative comments. Council liaison report, Motion for the same Darrel, Second Rosanne. Motion carried. When can we have guests in the studio? Sara will ask the Mayor and get back to the board, • KOSW on air event participation: Vendor fair in April. KOSW will be involved with several events this summer at the Convention Center.
