Aldermen Present: Karen Spiegelberg, Matt Mulder, Charles Schellpeper, Lou Kowieski, Matt Rosek, John Zapfel, Kevin Ellis
Alderman Absent: Andy Rogers
Also Present: Robert Magnus, Matt Trebatoski, Diane Coenen, Robert Duffy, Mark Frye, Jason Gallo, Craig Hoeppner, James Pfister,
Joe Pickart, Laurie Sullivan, Kristi Weber, Ivan Lam
Call to order and confirmation of appropriate meeting notification
Mayor Magnus called the meeting to order at 6:20 PM.
Committee Business
a. Presentation on Fund Balance
Sullivan gave a PowerPoint presentation on Funds and Fund Balances. Sullivan will bring a Fund Balance Policy to the
Finance Committee for recommendation.
b. Presentation on Wizard of OZ Plaza Improvements
Ald Spiegelberg presented and Kristi Weber gave an OZ Plaza Concept Plan PowerPoint presentation. Council is in favor of
doing more exploration on Phase 2 (rooftop seating) for cost. The City also needs to look at usage options for the vacant Police
Dept. space for the long term and supports fund raising for this project. In addition, public restrooms need to be explored.
Adjourn
Motion to adjourn the Committee-of-The-Whole Meeting made by Rosek and seconded by Ellis.
Motion carried 7-0-0.
The meeting adjourned at 7:20 PM.
