City of Oconomowoc Committee-Of-The-Whole Meeting Minutes April 15, 2025 - 6:30 PM (Immediately following Protection & Welfare) Aldermen Present: Rusty McConnell, Erik Jungwirth, Jennifer Aultman Kloth, Kevin Ellis, Karen Spiegelberg, Charles Schellpeper Alderman Absent: Matt Mulder, Matt Rosek Also Present: Robert Magnus, Stan Riffle, Mark Frye, Gina Kozlik Mayor Magnus called the Committee-Of-The-Whole Meeting to order and appropriate meeting notice was confirmed at 6:21 PM. a. Closed Session - Conference Room 3 A motion to go into closed session was made by Ellis, seconded by Aultman Kloth including the following: Motion to go into Closed Session that the Common Council of the City of Oconomowoc will convene, upon passage of the proper motion, into Closed Session with staff, pursuant to §19.85(1)(a), Wis. Stats. The purpose of the meeting is to confer with legal counsel who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted with respect to litigation in which it involved as authorized under §19.85(1)(g), Stats and conducting other specific public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. Specifically, to be discussed is litigation involving the City, the Village of Lac La Belle and the Town of Oconomowoc pertaining to the Intergovernmental Agreement between the Village and Town and annexation disputes by and between the parties. It was added that discussing this matter could be deleterious or harmful to the City if this matter was discussed in open session. . Motion carried 6-0-0. b. Adjourned Closed Session Motion to adjourn Closed Session made by Schellpeper and seconded by Aultman Kloth at 7:04pm. Motion carried 6-0-0. Committee Business - Council Chambers a. FEH Design Presentation Christy Monk from FEH Design provided a presentation on the Conceptual Design options for the Library Renovation. Adjourn Motion to adjourn made by Ellis and seconded by Aultman Kloth. Motion carried 6-0-0. The meeting adjourned at 7:33 PM.
