Finance Committee Meeting Minutes October 2, 2018 Chairman Zwart called the meeting to order at 7:27 PM. Members Present: Aldermen Zwart and Spiegelberg Members Excused: Ald. Rosek Staff Present: Mayor Nold, Kitsembel, Sullivan, Buerger, Gallo, Duffy, Frye, Kelliher, Pickart, Freber and Coenen Others Present: Alds. Kowieski, Ellis, Strey and Miller 2. Consider/recommend Awarding Contract for New Financial Accounting Software Sullivan reported the City sent out a Request for Proposals for new accounting software to seven firms and received four proposals. Using the qualifications based selection process the firms were evaluated for technical requirements and contract cost. The top two firms were selected to provide a demonstration of their software and the demos were evaluated on overall ease of use, support, transition plan, Department Head interface and electronic workflow. The budget for this project is $150K. Tyler Incode scored highest in points and also provided the lowest quote in the amount of $135,436. Motion by Spiegelberg to recommend awarding the contract for new financial accounting software to Tyler Incode in the amount of $135,436; second by Zwart. Motion carried 2-0.
