Finance Committee Meeting Minutes October 20, 2020 Chairman Rosek called the meeting to order at 5:50 PM. Members Present: Aldermen Rosek, Ellis and Spiegelberg Staff Present: Mayor Magnus, Sullivan, Duffy, Gallo, Hoeppner, Frye, Lam, Schuh, Timm, Coenen and Dehnert Others Present: Alds. Kowieski (via Webex), Mulder, Schellpeper and Zapfel 2.a. Consider/recommend Budget Amendment for 2020 3rd Quarter Grants/Donations Received – 7/1/20 to 9/30/20 Sullivan reported the budget amendment is for the third quarter of 2020. She further explained the City is holding onto the donations for the Save 517 Park, and if the amount received does not meet the goal, then funds will be returned to those who donated. Motion by Spiegelberg to recommend the budget amendment for 2020 grants/donations received from 7/1/20 to 9/30/20; second by Ellis. Motion carried 3-0. 2.b. Consider/act on September Voucher Report Motion by Spiegelberg to approve the vouchers in the amount of $4,230,232.32; second by Ellis. Motion carried 3-0. 2.c. Report – Purchase Orders over $10,000 Administratively Approved Sullivan summarized a report showing quarterly capital purchase orders which are budgeted items and administratively approved. She included this report so that if aldermen have questions on any particular item, she can address them. Motion by Rosek to adjourn; second by Ellis. Motion carried 3-0.
