This constitutes a meeting of the Common Council pursuant to State ex rel. Badke v. Greendale Village Board, 173Wis. 2d 553, 494 N.W. 2d 408 (1993) and must be noticed as such, although the Common Council will not take any formal action at this meeting. 1  MEMORANDUM CLERKS Date: May 7, 2021 To: Mayor Magnus Protection & Welfare Common Council From: Diane Coenen, City Clerk Re: Gus & JS Inc - Class “B” & “Class C” Licenses RELATES TO THE STRATEGIC PLAN Strategic Goal - N/A BACKGROUND The City received an application for Class “B” Fermented Malt Beverage and “Class C” Wine licenses from Gus & JS, Inc., Gustavo Gutierrez, Agent, to sell fermented malt beverages and wine at 662 E. Wisconsin Ave (former Arby’s location). The restaurant is operating however, no alcohol is being served. The applicant meets all Chapter 12 and State licensing requirements. ADDITIONAL ANALYSIS N/A FINANCIAL IMPACT N/A RECOMMENDATION Committee Recommendation: Move to recommend granting new 2021 Class “B” Fermented Malt Beverage and “Class C” Wine licenses to Gus & JS, Inc. SUGGESTED MOTION Council Recommendation: Move to adopt the resolution 21-R2952 granting new 2021 Class “B” Fermented Malt Beverage and “Class C” Wine licenses to Gus & JS, Inc. 1 2  RESOLUTION NO. 21-R2952 GRANTING A CLASS “B” FERMENTED MALT BEVERAGE AND “CLASS C” WINE LICENSES TO GUS & JS, INC. WHEREAS, the application for the following new licenses has been made, necessary fees deposited and all legal procedures have been taken, as per ordinance of the City of Oconomowoc. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oconomowoc that the following licenses be granted (expiring on June 30, 2021): Class “B” Fermented Malt License (sell and serve fermented malt beverages) & “Class C” Wine License (sell and serve wine) Gus & JS, Inc.
