. City of Margaret March 30, 2020 6:00 P.M. In attendance: Councilman Perry, Councilman Carter, Councilman Ray, Mayor Pro-Tem McIntyre, and Mayor Howard Absent: Councilman Chapman Prayer: Mr. Barker Mayor Howard called Meeting to order Discussion Mayor Howard asked for approval of minutes for February 25,2020 meeting. Councilman Carter made the Motion to approve minutes for February 25, 2020. Councilman Perry seconded the Motion. Motion passed unanimously. Councilman Carter made the Motion to suspend the rules so that Tobacco Ordinance # 2019-0326 could be corrected. Mayor Pro-Tem Mcintyre seconded the Motion the Motion passed unanimously: Councilman Perry – yes Councilman Ray – yes Councilman Carter – yes Mayor Pro-Tem – yes Mayor Howard – yes Mayor Pro-Tem to accept the Tobacco Ordinance #2019-0326 as written with corrections, revises and amendments. Councilman Perry seconded the Motion. Motion passes unanimously. Mayor Howard informed the Council that Mr. Barker has quotes on road work on South Hillcrest. The Mayor also informed the Council that Magnolia needed to be repaired because the County no longer wants to honor contract with City of Margaret to fix Magnolia. Mayor Howard and  the Council suggested that Mr. Barker do a combined bid that includes South Hillcrest and Magnolia. Councilman Perry made to allow Mr. Barker to get seal bids to fix South Hillcrest and Magnolia. Councilman Ray seconded the Motion. Motion passed unanimously. Mayor Howard expressed the importance of the 2020 Census and that each Council Member needs to express the importance in their respective districts. Mayor Howard would also like some assistance to help keep kids of of City of Margaret Parks. Mayor asked for anymore comments: Councilman Ray – nothing Councilman Carter weight limit needs to be enforced on South Hillcrest because of ABC Towing worker tearing up the roads. Mayor Pro-Tem McIntyre – nothing Councilman Perry- Erskine needs to get with developers about roads in Brookhaven. Councilman Perry made the Motion to adjourn. Councilman Ray seconded the Motion.
