. City of Margaret April 21, 2020 6:00 P.M. In attendance: Councilman Perry, Councilman Chapman, Councilman Carter, Councilman Ray, Mayor Pro-Tem McIntyre, and Mayor Howard, Prayer: Mr. Barker Mayor Howard called Meeting to order Discussion Mayor Howard asked for approval of minutes for April 07, 2020 meeting. made the Motion to approve minutes for April 07, 2020. Councilman Perry seconded the Motion. Motion passed unanimously. Councilman Ray arrives to meeting 6:06PM Council talked about to Mike the ABC Wrecker driver about not parking at his house because, the wrecker is tearing up the road. Mike stated that he came up with his own personal parking space because he was worried about the wrecker sticking out in the road. And that he has been turning around in the Sunrise Subdivision. Councilman Perry express his concerns about the wrecker messing up the road that the City just spent over $100,000.00 to repair. Mike stated that the only reason he is home is a lot is because of the Corona Virus. Mayor Pro-Tem McIntyre suggest that the City follow up with McCartney to see what weight limit needs to be on the road. Mike has a smaller truck, but it would still be over the required weight limit. Councilman ray stated that it would be hard to enforce weight limit without a DOT certified Officer. Councilman Chapman suggested that Mike bring in paperwork on the truck stating, the truck’s weight. Mayor Howard stated that the biggest issue would be Mike turning the wrecker into the road messing up the side of the road. Mayor Howard also pointed out that the parking space Mike made for the wrecker, has caused a sight hazard on South Hillcrest. Council decided not to make a decision until they receive paperwork from Mike and they have contacted McCarthy. Mayor also informed the Council that the owner of ABC Wrecker said that it would be not problem for Mike to keep his truck on the lot located in Argo.  Mayor Howard asked the Council for anymore comments: Councilman Perry – nothing Councilman Ray – nothing Councilman Carter – nothing Councilman Chapman – nothing Mayor Pro-Tem Mcintyre – nothing Mayor Pro-Tem McIntyre made the Motion to adjourn. Motion was seconded by Councilman Chapman. Motion passed unanimously.
