. City of Margaret September 03, 2024 6:05 P.M. In attendance: Councilman James Chapman, Councilman Darius Crump, Councilman, Councilman Matthew Tortorice, Councilman Jonathan Ray, and Mayor Pro-Tem Daryl McIntyre Absent: Mayor Isaac Howard Prayer: Pledge of Alliance Adoption of Agenda Attorney Erskine Funderburg addressed the issue of prohibiting the recording of minutes and the opinion submitted by District Attorney Lyles Harmon from 5:57 PM to 6:05 PM. The meeting was called to order at 6:05 PM. Discussion: Councilman Darius Crump moved to adjourn the meeting and convene later due to the disruptive manner of people remaining in the council chambers recording. Councilman James Chapman seconded the Motion. Council Matthew Tortorice continues to express his concern about not allowing the recording of the meetings. City Erskine Funderburg called for a point of order. Mayor Pro-Tem Daryl McIntyre called for a vote. The Motion was passed due to the majority having three yeses and two noes.
