Community Fund Committee Meeting

Ogden Dunes Community Fund Minutes 10/5/2023 In attendance: Sophia Arshad, Patti McCall, Karl Krizmanic, Maryann Schaefer Meeting came to order: 5:04 -2021 Final Grant Reports: -The recognition committee needs to send receipts though their final report has been submitted. -The HCPS committee requires an extension for their grant. We will check to see if this has been done so we can vote to grant an extension. -Historical Society is asking for a copy of their original grant so they can send in their final report -Financial Report: We received our money from PCCF in July and distributed it. We received $8804 and awarded $8947. We have $5127.26 in our pass-through account. Fundraising: We will be stuffing fundraising letters into water bills in late October. Karl volunteered to assist. The cost of envelopes and letters was $319.00. Karl will put up banner in the front of town. Master Plan: Karl indicated that the Town Council is embarking on a master plan and is asking committees to participate. The committee wanted to learn more but did not have objections to the idea. Karl also suggested that Kristine Sandrick assist the committee with a strategic plan. An additional upcoming event for the committee to think about is Ogden Dunes centennial which will occur in 2 years. Terms: Carol Martin and Sophia Arshad’s terms are up on 1/1/2023. Sophia agreed to be a part of the committee for another term and Maryann will bring it to the Town Council for approval. We will need to determine if Carol wishes to have her term renewed.
