Call to Order 708p 2. Minutes - Approval of the November 8, 2023, meeting minutes. Approved by unanimous consent. 2b. Annual vote on Chair & Secretary: Ken and Arman retained. 3. Correspondence/Presentations. - Master Plan discussion - Scott K - consultants could not attend, so deferred until next month. We discussed the need for the Master Plan as we search for grants to support of the improvements we want to make to the community. Several consultant groups would be considered. 4. Building Commissioner’s Report - Jeremy A) Under Construction: Working with one construction plan that spills over into setback lines in two places. B) Permits Issued – Current permit count 21 for the year at a value of $14,000. C) Nuisance Properties - none reported. D) Miscellaneous - interest issues - Renewing permit cost, considered the ordinance and cost determination 5. Ordinance Planning - nothing reported. 6. Building Code Review Committee Report - nothing reported. 7. BZA Report - Arman - nothing reported. 8. Old Business A) Proposal regarding a change to the Ordinance regarding Building Permit Time Limit - status. - Jeremy -(This has a bit of wording issues but will be submitted directly to the town council). B) Thoughts on building code revision - some recent challenges in determine height restrictions - Jeremy - suspended. C) Other - 9. New Business A) Capital Expenditures (subgroup) update - preparing to submit final report and priority to town council directly. B) Fencing Ordinance - Jeremy - discussed desire to allow for (with mutual consent of both owners) the fence to be on the property line without ugly face on either side. C) Roles of the Planning Commission - see material attached and memo from the town attorney. Note, in the attached I have highlighted in yellow each reference to the Plan Commission to underscore our defined role by law and ordinance). This was discussed as to how to best maintain the committees' oversite role. D) Other: Shed size - should it be increase from the current 10 x 12.
