Ogden Dunes Water Board Meeting Minutes Summary Date of meeting: September 11, 2025 Location: Town Hall & Zoom. In attendance: Jim Slawinski, Tom Cleland, Dave Snyder, Mike Lanovich, and Leslie Tyburski. (Via Zoom) Absent: Julia Klingensmith (Vacation) The following is a summary of notations made during the meeting: 1. Appoint minute taker: Tom Cleland appointed himself to take notes for minutes at this meeting. 2. Approve minutes from August 2025 meeting: Motion was made by Jim Slawinski to approve; motion seconded by Tom Cleland. 3. August Water Department fund report delayed until later in September a/c JK is on vacation. 4. The Water Department will defer any future Town/Lake water e Coli testing to the Environmental Committee. 5. ME Simpson is close to presenting their updated maps. ML will be following up with ME Simpson for a meeting date. 6. ML will be following up with ME Simpson on the frozen valve issue. 7. An additional CD purchase will be reviewed at the October meeting, once ME Simpson has been paid up. 8. The backflow report update is approximately 70% complete. 9. The 1” water service relocation for Kratz Field will be completed this fall. 10. Weekly Pump House housekeeping being done by Street crew. 11. The Pump House backflow testing is scheduled to be completed on 9-15-2025. 12. No new feedback on the Indiana 811/USIC issues. 13. Status quo on the current Water Department Master Plan. 14. Next Water Board meeting is October 20, 2025, at 4:30 pm; Town Hall.
