The committee discussed Ideas of startmg earlier, open less hours, weekends only, but a decision was not made We will keep this on the agenda and discuss It m the upcommg months STAGE Mr Paskms IS gomg to all the schools and recrmtmg performers He asked for a template he can use to schedule the groups and their times Ms Packham said to make sure and check with music teachers and dance groups, they also like to get mvolved Ms Olsen said she would make sure Derek Williamson IS aware we are gomg to do the schedulmg this year DIVERSITY Ms Olsen said that she received some complamts that the village does not have enough dtverstty We need to represent other cultures Ms Packham said we welcome and have always welcomed different groups and cultures to the VIllage If they want to sponsor a cottage, we would be happy to let them and support them the same as we do all the other sponsors MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CHRISTMAS VILLAGE ADVISORY COMMITTEE OF OGDEN, UT APRIL 6, 2017 PAGE 2 OF 2 OPEN DISCUSSION • Ms Wilson passed around the sweatshirt designs The committee d1d not love anyone des1gn Ms Wilson will go back to the des1gner and give the followmg recommendatiOns to h1m Fnendher nutcracker, holdmg a bag, they hked the mountam scenery, no more than 3 colors • Ms Packham took some p1ctures of some Chnstmas hght d1splays that she w11l forward to Mr Terrazas She felt he would be able to come up w1th some great 1deas off what others have done to hght up the dark places m their displays • Ms Packham sa1d she would hke to decorate a cottage when one becomes ava1lable Ms Olsen will get her on the wa1tmg hst NEXT MEETING The next meetmg for the Chnstmas Village Adv1sory Committee 1s Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 4 OOpm The meetmg locatiOn IS the Ogden Public Works Bmldmg, 133 West 29th Street ADJOURNMENT W1th no further busmess to d1scuss, Ms Nelson motioned to adjourn, motion seconded by Mr Paskms Committee approved The meetmg of the Chnstmas Village Advisory Committee adjourned at 5 00 p m Mmutes Prepared By Mmutes Approved By Stacey Olse roJect Coordmator Cra1g B1eh , Cha1r Ogden City ubhc Services Chnstm Village Advisory Committee Date Approved 7 5P.7 /! 7
