The purpose of the joint work session includes presentations and discussions regarding:
Agenda review for the City Council meeting;
Lincoln Place Development Agreement Amendments;
Council/Board business; and
Council/Board comments.
Any items not fully addressed prior to the City Council meeting,
which begins at 6:00 p.m., may be addressed immediately following that meeting.

4. Recognitions:
a. Human Trafficking. Proposed Joint Resolution 2018-5 affirming support of eliminating human trafficking. (Adopt
joint resolution – voice vote)
b. Make A Difference Day. Proposed joint proclamation declaring April 26, 2018 as “Make A Difference Day” in Ogden
City. (Approve joint proclamation – voice vote)
5. Approval of Minutes: (Voice vote)
a. Regular meeting of January 23, 2018 – Council member Stephens
6. Common Consent: (Voice vote)
a. Public Safety Employee Appeal Board. Consideration of the appointment of Wayne Tarwater to the Public Safety
Employee Appeal Board. (Approve appointment)
b. Annual Action Plan for July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019. Proposed Resolution 2018-4 adopting the Annual Action Plan
for July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019. (Set public hearing for May 1, 2018)

7. Public Hearing:
a. Fiscal Year 2018 Budget Amendment – Mt. Lewis and Lester Park Improvements and Miscellaneous Grant
Revenues. Proposed Ordinance 2018-7 amending the Fiscal Year 2017-2018 budget in the amount of $242,774.
(Adopt/not adopt ordinance – roll call vote)
8. Public Comments. This is an opportunity to address the Council regarding concerns or ideas on any topic. To be
considerate of everyone at this meeting, public comment will be limited to three minutes per person. Participants are
to state their name for the record. Comments, which cannot be made within these limits, should be submitted in writing
to the City Council Office (citycouncil@ogdencity.com).
The Council encourages civil discourse for everyone who participates in our meetings. Comments pertaining to an
agenda item that includes a public hearing or public input should be given during the meeting as that item is discussed.

Continuation of Joint Work Session if Necessary
Public meetings may be held electronically in accordance with Utah Code Annotated 52-4-207 to allow Council members to participate
via teleconference. The anchor location for the meeting shall be on the 3rd Floor of the Ogden Municipal Building, 2549 Washington
Blvd., Ogden Utah.
