White Center Advisory Committee Meeting Results January 6, 2021 Electronic Via Zoom Meeting 4:00 PM 222 28th St, Ogden, Utah 84401 Call to Order  Called to order by Chair White at 4:07 PM Reading of Determination by Chair Ronald White Attendees: Present Absent Camille Cook Dr. Mikel Vause Tanner Koons Sara Yearsley Priscilla Martinez Clairesse Miljour Gerod Sawyer Ronald White Juan Martinez Sean Bishop Regina Esparza Tom Debole Edd Bridge Brent Tippetts – VCBO Whitney Ward – VCBO Nathan Leavitt - VCBO Approval of Minutes from 12-16-2020 Meeting  Correction of attendance for Sara Yearsley  Nomination to approve minutes with correction by committee member Gerod Sawyer, 2nd by committee member Priscilla Martinez, motion passed with no opposition. 1. New Business  Prior to new business Whitney Ward from VCBO shared the Half Page design for the survey campaign. a. Cultural Center Virtual Tour  PowerPoint presentation of a cultural center, and hybrid center local to Utah given by Brent Tippets of VCBO, committee members discussed features. b. Survey - Final Draft Review, Discussion, and Vote  Whitney Ward presented to the committee that the survey has been finalized and asked that the committee take the survey again as they have worked out some issues. She will be sending it to Sabrina Lee to send to the committee on Monday the 11th.  Once the committee take the survey it will be voted on at the 1/13/2021 meeting  2. Sub- Committee Reports a. Policy and Procedure Committee – Draft Document Discussion  Camille verified with the committee that they all received the Policy and Procedure document, everyone acknowledged that they received it. Camille asked if there were any questions or anything that needed to be changed, the committee had none b. Community Outreach Committee  Committee Member Priscilla Martinez reported that the committee discussed strategies to increase survey taking.  Committee Member Regina Esparza reported on the campaign going live with the bios of the members. She asked everyone to look at the webpages and reported that we are getting traffic online. She is missing bio’s for Edd Bridge, Gerod Sawyer, Sara Yearsley and Dr. Vause.  Committee Member Clairesse Miljour reported on the outreach contact list. They will draft the email that will be sent to contacts. Sabrina will send the link to committee members again if they need to add to it.  Committee Member Gerod Butcher announced details for the MLK Event happening on 1/18/2021. They are hoping to campaign about the survey at the event. 3.
