City of Olathe City Council Virtual Meeting | Special Call Tuesday | October 29, 2024 | 4:30 PM 1. CALL TO ORDER Present: Bacon, Vogt, Gilmore, Schoonover, Felter, Vakas, and Essex 2. EXECUTIVE SESSION Consideration of motion to recess into an executive session to discuss the following items: A. Personnel matters of non-elected personnel pursuant to the exception provided in K.S.A.75-4319(b)(1) regarding the City Auditor Position. Motion by Vogt, seconded by Gilmore, to recess into an executive session to discuss personnel matters of non-elected personnel pursuant to the exception provided in K.S.A.75-4319(b)(1) regarding the City Auditor Position for 10 minutes. The open meeting will resume here via the Teams link at 4:42 PM. Yes: Bacon, Vogt, Gilmore, Schoonover, Felter, Vakas, and Essex 3. RECONVENE FROM EXECUTIVE SESSION Motion by Vogt, seconded by Gilmore, to authorize staff to proceed with the strategies discussed with and directed by the governing body. Yes: Bacon, Vogt, Gilmore, Schoonover, Felter, Vakas, and Essex 4. ADJOURNMENT Mayor Bacon reminded everyone about the upcoming council meeting on November 5th.
