CALL TO ORDER Present: Bacon, Vogt, Gilmore, Felter, and Vakas Absent: Schoonover, and Essex 2. EXECUTIVE SESSION Consideration of motion to recess into an executive session to discuss the following items: A. Personnel matters of non-elected personnel pursuant to the exception provided in K.S.A. 75-4319(b)(1) regarding the City Auditor Position. Motion by Gilmore, seconded by Felter to recess into an executive session to discuss personnel matters of non-elected personnel regarding the City Auditor position pursuant to the exception provided in K.S.A.75-4319(b)(1) for 5 hours and 5 minutes. The open meeting will resume in the City Council chambers at 5:00 PM. Yes: Bacon, Gilmore, Felter, and Vakas Absent: Vogt, Schoonover, and Essex Council Member Vogt joined the executive session at 2:55 PM. At 5:00 PM, the Council reconvened in the Council Chamber and a motion was made by Councilmember Vogt to recess back into an executive session for an additional 45 minutes, to reconvene in the Council Chamber at 5:45 PM. The motion was seconded by Councilmember Gilmore and passed 5-0. At 5:45 PM, the Council reconvened in the Council Chamber and a motion was made by Councilmember Vogt to recess back into an executive session for an additional 20 minutes, to reconvene in the Council Chamber at 6:05 PM. The motion was seconded by Councilmember Gilmore and passed 5-0. 3. RECONVENE FROM EXECUTIVE SESSION Motion by Vogt, seconded by Gilmore, to authorize staff to proceed with the strategies discussed with and directed by the governing body.
