PUBLIC SAFETY Tuesday, February 3, 2026 – 6:30 p.m. Council Chambers – Olean Municipal Building Present: Members: Chairman Robinson, Vice Chairman Anastasia, Alderman Bennion, Alderman Keary, Alderman Forney, and Alderman McCall. Others: Mayor Amy Sherburne; Michael Morgan, City Attorney; Lens Martial, City Auditor; James Sprague, Director of Public Works, and Tiffany Taylor, Managerial Confidential Administrative Secretary. 1. Roll Call Alderman Robinson called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. and asked that the record show that all committee members were present except Alderman Crawford, who was absent. 2. Approval of Minutes of the Previous Committee Meeting (Tuesday, January 20, 2026) A motion to approve the minutes of the January 20, 2026 committee meeting was made by Alderman Robinson, seconded by Alderman Bennion. Voice vote, ayes all. Motion carried. 3. Unfinished Business None 4. New Referrals for Consideration a. No Parking North Union Street / Franklin Street A motion to postpone discussion on this issue for one month was made by Alderman Robinson, seconded by Alderman Keary. Voice vote, ayes all. Motion carried. 5. Approval of Committee Reports None 6. Executive Session A motion to enter into executive session to discuss pending litigation was made by Alderman Robinson, seconded by Alderman McCall. Voice vote, ayes all. Motion carried. Executive session began at approximately 6:31 p.m. A motion to adjourn from executive session was made by Alderman Robinson, seconded by Alderman McCall. Voice vote, ayes all. Motion carried. Executive session adjourned at approximately 7:50 p.m.  7. Adjournment A motion to adjourn was made by Alderman Robinson, seconded by Alderman Forney. Voice vote, ayes all. Motion carried.
