BUSINESS ITEMS 2.B 14-0707 Review of West Bay Habitat Study Mr. Hoey reviewed the background on this issue and work done to date. He stated the City is working with the Port of Olympia to hire a consultant to complete an environmental restoration assessment of West Bay. Mr. Hoey also shared the status of the shoreline restoration assessment, stormwater basin analysis, and lagoon area alternatives analysis. The discussion was completed. 2.A 14-0706 Discussion and Consideration of Proposed Accord Between the Squaxin Island Tribe and the City of Olympia Mr. Steve Hall presented the draft Accord. Mayor Buxbaum spoke about its importance to the relationship between the City and the Tribe. After a short discussion, the Accord was agreed upon and signed. The contract was approved.
