1.A ANNOUNCEMENTS
Mayor Buxbaum announced the passing of Public Works employee Patricia Pyle over
the weekend. He said she will be missed and expressed sympathy to the family.
Mayor Buxbaum announced the passing of City Manager Steve Hall's mother-in-law
and extended thoughts and sympathy to him and his family.

Payroll check numbers 87580 through 87664 and Direct Deposit transmissions:
Total: $5,665,926.89; Claim check numbers 3655970 through 3657219: Total:
$7,884,996.07.

The contract was adopted.
4.G 15-0221 Consideration of Resolution Concerning Puget Sound Energy’s
Continued Reliance on Coal-Fired Power Production and Proposed
Legislation before the Washington State Legislature
Mayor Pro Tem Jones noted revisions to the resolution based on evolving legislation.
The resolution was adopted.

4.E 15-0124 Approval of Revised Ordinance Adopting the 2015 Transportation
Impact Fees
The ordinance was adopted on second reading.
4.F 15-0126 Approval of Ordinance Revising the City of Olympia Zoning Map
Amendment Criteria
The ordinance was adopted on second reading.
Approval of the Consent Agenda
Mayor Pro Tem Jones moved, seconded by Councilmember Cooper, to adopt
the Consent Calendar. The motion carried by the following vote:

Councilmember Hankins, Councilmember Langer, Councilmember
Roe and Councilmember Selby

REFERRALS
Councilmembers reports on meetings they attended.
Councilmember Selby moved, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Jones, to re-form
the Community and Economic Revitalization Committee (CERC) with
Councilmember Hankins, Mayor Pro Tem Jones and Councilmember Cooper as
members, with the chair to be chosen at the next CERC meeting. Following
discussion, the motion carried 4-3, with Mayor Buxbaum, Councilmember
Langer and Councilmember Hankins voting against.
8.B CITY MANAGER'S REPORT AND REFERRALS - None
9. EXECUTIVE SESSION
9.A 15-0184 Executive Session Pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(c) - Real Estate
Matter
Mayor Buxbaum announced a 5-minute recess and said the Council will
reconvene in Executive Session at 8:50 p.m. to discuss a real estate matter.
He indicated no decisions will be made, the meeting is expected to last no
more than 90 minutes, and the Council will adjourn immediately following
the Executive Session. The City Attorney will be present at the Executive
Session.
9. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was recessed at 8:47 p.m.

During this portion of the meeting, citizens may address the Council regarding only items related to City
business, including items on the Agenda, except on agenda items for which the City Council either held
a Public Hearing in the last 45 days, or will hold a Public Hearing within 45 days. Individual testimony is
limited to three minutes or less. In order to hear as many people as possible during the 30-minutes set
aside for Public Communication, the Council will refrain from commenting on individual testimony until
all public comment has been taken. The City Council will allow for additional testimony to be taken at the
end of the meeting for those who signed up at the beginning of the meeting and did not get an
opportunity to speak during the allotted 30-minutes.
