ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Mayor Cheryl Selby, Councilmember Jim Cooper, Councilmember Clark Gilman, Councilmember Julie Hankins and Councilmember Jeannine Roe Excused: 2 - Mayor Pro Tem Nathaniel Jones and Councilmember Jessica Bateman 2. DISCUSSION ITEMS 2.A 16-0367 Annual Joint Meeting with the Olympia Downtown Association Olympia Downtown Association (ODA) President Farra Vargas welcomed everyone and made introductions. ODA Executive Director Zvirzdys-Farler reviewed the Main Street Approach which includes local, statewide and national partnerships. Other ODA members presented items related to Telling Our Story. Councilmembers and City staff shared information on various topics of interest, including: - Downtown Strategy update - Park's Levy plans - Community Renewal Area - Economic Development Director's 2016 goals - How the ODA can support projects the City is working on downtown - How the City communicates with the businesses/property owners in downtown The information was provided. 3.
