2.A 24-0986 Olympia 2045 - Public Safety Chapter of the Comprehensive Plan
Update
Associate Planner Casey Schaufler shared an overview of the updates to the Public
Safety Chapter of the Comprehensive Plan.
Councilmembers asked clarifying questions and provided feedback.
Mr. Schaufler, Principal Planner Joyce Phillips, Fire Chief Matt Morris and Deputy Police
Chief Sam Costello responded to questions.
The study session was completed.
2.B 24-1000 Olympia 2045 - Parks, Arts and Recreation Chapter of the
Comprehensive Plan Update
Director of Parks Planning and Maintenance Sylvana Niehuser shared an overview of the
updates to the Parks, Arts and Recreation Comprehensive plan.
Councilmembers asked clarifying questions and provided feedback.
Ms. Niehuser responded to questions.
The study session was completed.

an overview of the updates to the Utilities Chapter of the Comprehensive plan.
Councilmembers asked clarifying questions and provided feedback.
Ms. Clark and Mr. Jones responded to questions.
