CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 8:32 a.m. 1.A ROLL CALL Present: 3 - Chair Linda Villegas Bremer, Commissioner Reiko Callner, and Commissioner Oscar Soule STAFF PRESENT Amy Cleveland, Chief Examiner/Secretary Tami Micheau, Human Resources 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 2.A 14-0215 Approval of January 21, 2014, Civil Service Commission Meeting Minutes Commissioner Callner moved, seconded by Commissioner Soule, to approve the January 21, 2014 minutes. The motion carried by an unanimous vote. Aye: 3 - Chair Villegas Bremer, Commissioner Callner and Commissioner Soule 3. BUSINESS ITEMS 3.A 14-0253 Approval of Entry Level Police Officer Register Ms. Micheau reported that 14 candidates were processed through the Phase 1 and interviews, however, only one candidate passed all tests and was placed on the Entry Level Police Register. Commissioner Soule moved, seconded by Commissioner Callner, to approve the Entry Level Police Register. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 3 - Chair Villegas Bremer, Commissioner Callner and Commissioner Soule 3.B 14-0257 2013 Entry Level Police Officer EEO Information City of Olympia Page 1 Civil Service Commission Meeting Minutes March 18, 2014 Ms. Cleveland provided Equal Employment Opportunity information that was requested by the Commission for the 2013 Entry Level Police Officer Applicants. Information was provided with graphs and spreadsheets and the Commission discussed the information.
