The meeting was called to order at 8:30 a.m.

Fire Department Assistant Chief Mike Buchanan
Human Resources Director Linnaea Jablonski

The agenda was approved.

Mr. Buchanan welcomed Ms. Jablonski.

5.A 19-0369 Approval of February 19th, 2019 Civil Service Commission Meeting
Minutes
Commissioner Callner moved, seconded by Commissioner Soule, to approve
the minutes. The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 3 - Chair Villegas Bremer, Commissioner Callner and Commissioner
Soule
5.B 19-0371 Approval of Promotional Fire Lieutenant Register
Mr. Buchanan presented feedback recieved on the promotional process, provided
information about each candidate, and outlined next steps.

Commission to maintain impartiality and the appearance of fairness in upcoming matters and to comply
with Public Disclosure Law for political campaigns, speakers will not be permitted to make public
comments before the Committee or Commission in these two areas: (1) on agenda items for which the
Committee or Commission either held a Public Hearing in the last 45 days, or will hold a Public Hearing
within 45 days, or (2) where the speaker promotes or opposes a candidate for public office or a ballot
measure.
