Chair Huỳnh called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.

Committee Meeting Minutes
The minutes were approved.
6. COMMITTEE BUSINESS
6.A 23-0091 Reimagining Public Safety Recommendations - 2023 Implementation
Strategic Planning & Performance Manager Stacey Ray provided an update on the
Reimagining Public Safety Recommendations and answered clarifying questions.

6.B 23-0098 Update on Community Discrimination Assessment Project
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Program Manager Tobi Hill-Meyer provided an update on
the Community Discrimination Assessment Project and answered clarifying questions.

Safety Committee
6.C 23-0100 Update on Advisory Committee Recruitment Process
Strategic Communications Director Kellie Purce Braseth provided an update the on
advisory committee recruitment process and answered clarifying questions.
The Community Livability and Public Safety Committee decided to hold committee
interviews virtually on March 1-2, 2023 for all existing committees. The newly created
Cultural Access Advisory Board will have in-person interviews held on April 19-20, 2023.
The information was provided.
6.D 23-0089 2023 Community Livability and Public Safety Committee Work Plan
Assistant City Manager Debbie Sullivan provided the draft 2023 Community Livability
and Public Safety Committee work plan and answered clarifying questions.
Committee member Selby moved, seconded by Committee member Payne, to
approve the draft 2023 Community Livability and Public Safety Committee
work plan, and forward to the full City Council for approval. The motion
carried by the following vote:
Aye: 3 - Chair Huỳnh, Committee member Payne and Committee member
Selby
