CALL TO ORDER Chair Cooper called the meeting to order at 5:31 pm. 2. ROLL CALL Present: 2 - Chair Jim Cooper and Committee member Lisa Parshley Excused: 1 - Committee member Cheryl Selby 3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA The agenda was approved. 4. PUBLIC COMMENT - None 5. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 5.A 21-1219 Approval of November 17, 2021 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes The minutes were approved. 6. COMMITTEE BUSINESS 6.A 21-1199 Briefing on the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report, Audit Process and 2020 Audit Results Accounting Manager Jana Brown and Senior Accountant Kensey Wang gave the briefing. Ms. Brown briefed the Committee on the City's financial reporting requirements and explained the different kinds of audits the City has. Ms. Wang went over the results of the City's 2020 audits. The report was received. 6.B 21-1200 Finance Committee 2022 Work Plan Discussion Finance Director Aaron BeMiller presented a draft Finance Committee 2022 Work Plan. Committee members compiled a list of potential topics for 2022. The Committee will discuss the Work Plan in more detail after the Council Retreat in January.
