Heritage Review Committee Meeting
1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 12:03 p.m.
1.A ROLL CALL
Present: 3 - Vice Chair Dwayne Harkness, Commissioner Garner Miller, and
Commissioner Nicholas Vann
Excused: 2 - Chair Holly Davies, and Commissioner Rachel Newmann
2. BUSINESS ITEMS
2.A 16-0272 Olympia Heritage Register Application Review: 408 27th Ave SE
Heritage Review Committee members visually inspected the building with owner and
applicant, Sean Kirby. Committee members determined that the property meets the
minimum standards for integrity of location, design, setting, materials, and
workmanship as per OMC 18.12.080. The recommendation to list the property on the
Olympia Heritage Register was forwarded to the Heritage Commission for final
decision.
Commissioner Miller moved, seconded by Commissioner Harkness, to
recommend the application to designate 408 27th Ave SE on the Olympia
Heritage Register for review by the Heritage Commission as the property
possesses integrity of location, design, setting, materials, and workmanship
and meets condition requirements. The motion passed unanimously.
3. ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 12:59 p.m.
