1. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 12:15 p.m. Due to a potential lack of quorum,
Commissioner Newmann was asked to serve as an alternate for this meeting only.

2. BUSINESS ITEMS
2.A 18-0806 BUILDING PERMIT REVIEW: Jacqueline Brown, 2403 Franklin St SE
(CPD 18-2884)
Committe members noted that the majority of the windows appear to have been replaced
with vinyl windows at some point. There appear to be two original windows remaining.
Discussion ensued about the compatibility of the minor addition including materials.
Commissioner Vann moved, seconded by Commissioner Newmann, to
approve Building Permit 18-3062 subject to the condition listed below.
Secretary of the Interior Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties
items 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 9 and 10 form the basis for the conditional approval. The
motion carried by a unanimous vote.
1. Windows selected for the addition shall be wood, aluminum clad or
fiberglass clad windows.

18-3062)
The work was considered repair therefore not necessary for HRC review, but rather
appropriate for staff level review.
The recommendation was withdrawn.

The meeting was adjourned at 12:45 p.m.

During this portion of the meeting, citizens may address the Committee regarding items related to City
business, including items on the Agenda. In order for the Committee to maintain impartiality and the
appearance of fairness in upcoming matters and to comply with Public Disclosure Law for political
campaigns, speakers will not be permitted to make public comments before the Committee in these two
