1. CALL TO ORDER
Chair Madrone called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.

6.A 22-0819 Development Agreement Ordinance Recommendation
Mr. Bauer presented a summary of the proposed ordinance and a draft administrative
policy.
Committee member Cooper moved, seconded by Committee member Gilman,
to recommend the proposed ordinance amending 18.53 regarding
development agreements to the full City Council for consideration. The
motion passed unanimously.
6.B 22-0833 2022 Engineering Design and Development Standards (EDDS) Update
Mr Sperr and Ms. Stimson gave a presentation on the 2022 EDDS updates.
Committee member Gilman moved, seconded by Committee member Cooper,
to accept staff's list of 2022 updates to the Engineering Design and
Development Standards. The motion passed unanimously.
6.C 22-0822 Climate Action Plan Implementation Briefing
Dr. Braff and Ms. Sevier gave a briefing on Olympia's climate change response and
implementation of the Thurston Climate Mitigation Plan.
The discussion was completed.
7. REPORTS AND UPDATES
Chair Madrone suggested adding an update on implementation of tenant protections to a
future Committee agenda. She reported a cost proposal from Thurston Conservation
District for implementation of actions in the urban agriculture work group report is
pending and Agripark feasibility study is kicking off.
Committee member Gilman reported Thurston Regional Planning Council is soon
considering updates to the Regional Transportation Plan.
Mr. Bauer reviewed scheduled agenda items for the next Committee meeting and
suggested moving the Capital Mall Triangle Subarea Plan briefing to the November
meeting.
8. ADJOURNMENT
