CALL TO ORDER Chair Cooper called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. 1.A ROLL CALL Present: 4 - Chair Jim Cooper, Boardmember Russ Gies, Boardmember Caleb Martin, and Boardmember Jack Seward Excused: 1 - Vice Chair Jeannine Roe OTHER STAFF PRESENT Joe Olson, HR Director Carl Watts, Personnel Analyst 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 2.A 15-0472 Approval of April 13, 2015 LEOFF Disability Board Meeting Minutes The minutes were approved. 3. BUSINESS ITEMS 3.A 15-0467 Long Term Care Rule Revision Boardmember Martin moved, seconded by Boardmember Seward, to approve the long term care language with the addition of "in the" to paragraph 8. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4 - Chair Cooper, Boardmember Gies, Boardmember Martin and Boardmember Seward Excused: 1 - Vice Chair Roe 3.B 15-0468 Hearing Aid Procedure The board decided to rewrite the proposed language to more accurately reflect the integration of Costco into the quote process. The decision will be discussed and continued at the next LEOFF I Disability Board due back on 6/8/2015. City of Olympia Page 1 LEOFF I Disability Board Meeting Minutes May 11, 2015 3.C 15-0469 Dental Care Rule Revision The board decided to rewrite the proposed dental language to more accurately reflect the purchase of a dental plan by the LEOFF members. This discussion will be continued at the next board meeting on 6/8/2015. 4. REPORTS 4.A 15-0471 LEOFF 1 Expenses-March 2015 The LEOFF 1 expenses for March 2015 were reviewed and discussed by the Board. The report was received. 6.
