CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. 1.A ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Chair Jim Cooper, Vice Chair Mark Hansen, Boardmember Steve Cooper, Boardmember Russ Gies and Boardmember Cheryl Selby 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 2.A 23-0167 Approval of January 9, 2023 LEOFF Board Minutes The minutes were approved. 3. BUSINESS ITEMS 3.A 23-0169 Election of LEOFF Board Chair and Vice Chair for 2023 Jim Cooper was reelected as Chair and Mark Hansen was reelected as Vice Chair. The decision was approved. 3.B 23-0168 Review changes to LEOFF Policies and Procedures The Board reviewed proposed changes to the LEOFF policies and procedures. The policies and procedures for Fire and Police historically have been housed in one document. Effective 1/1/2023, the insurance for LEOFF 1 Fire members on Humana, changed from Humana to Regence. The Regence Fire policy offers some additional benefits over the LEOFF 1 Police members' AWC Regence policy and the decision was made to separate the policies. HR staff drafted Police and Fire policies and presented them to the Board for approval. There are some additional changes that need to be made. The additional changes will be made and presented to the Board at the March 13, 2023 meeting for review and approval. The discussion was completed. 4.
